Did you know ?
That there are almost 19 miles of footpaths over the Parish area including Hanbury, Coton and Fauld? Isn't that simply amazing and aren't we incredibly lucky? It's so good to see the walks being enjoyed so frequently and as always, councillors are incredibly grateful to the landowners who, in pretty much all instances, do a really good job maintaining the paths and stiles....
Road Closures
Cllr White gave early notification of the following road closures, these are to carry out preparatory work prior to full resurfacing work later in the year. Access to frontages and emergency vehicles will of course be maintained and official notices posted nearer the time.

Huge thanks to Burton Conservation Volunteers who spent two days clearing the pond and surrounding undergrowth at the Village Green and replacing the pond liner. It's not a natural pond, and so only fills from rainwater meaning the water will still evaporate in dry, hot weather but hopefully should still retain some water all year round rather than dry out...
