We’re delighted to announce some exciting changes to the Hanbury Parish Council.
Firstly, a warm welcome to our new Chairman, Cllr Jude Harrison. Jude brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role, and we’re confident she’ll lead the council with dedication and vision. Alongside Jude, we’re pleased to say that Cllr Jenny Hendon has volunteered to remain on the Council as Vice Chair after 3 years as Chair. Jenny’s strong leadership skills and commitment to the parish will remain invaluable to the council.
We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing Vice Chairman, Cllr Ian Tyson. Ian’s dedication and hard work over the years have been instrumental in shaping our parish for the better particularly in relation to highways matters. We’re grateful for his service and delighted to confirm that Ian will remain a valued member of the council.
The good news continues as we welcome two new faces to the council: Cllr Tony Choules and Cllr Lisa Harrison. Their fresh perspectives and ideas will undoubtedly be a great asset to the team. With these appointments, Hanbury Parish Council now has a full complement of 7 councillors. Looking ahead, we’re well-positioned to continue to make positive changes for Hanbury and we welcome your input as always. All Parish Council meetings are open to the public to attend although sadly very few people do! If you have any questions or suggestions for the council, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the clerk on hanburyparishcouncil@live.co.uk or come along to our next meeting on Monday 9th September 19.30 at the Memorial Hall. All dates, councillor details, minutes, links to local Government sites and much, much more are all available on our website www.hanburyparishcouncil.org.uk
