Text Box: NEW COUNCILLOR
Hanbury Parish Council is delighted to welcome Richard Gadsby from Coton in the Clay. Rich joins Jenny Hendon, Ian Tyson, Jude Harrison, Emily Gregson, Ben Preston and Dave Bailey who together volunteer to make up the Parish Council, ably assisted by Charlotte Holmes.
Text Box: INTERESTED IN VILLAGE HISTORY?
Derek Hawes has a fascinating, original minute book from the original Hanbury Cricket Club with handwritten minutes from the inaugural meeting in 1894 up to 1911. The envelope is marked with the name of Mr Marler, Clematis Cottage and refers to Jim Cottier. Both names you may have heard of! If you would like to borrow the book before we put it into Archive for safe keeping with SCC, please contact the clerk, Charlotte Holmes or ask Derek 😊.
Text Box: SOMETHING BUGGING YOU?
If there is anything around the parish you feel needs attention then do make the Parish Council aware by attending one of our meetings or contacting the clerk by email:
hanburyparishcouncil@live.co.uk
Meeting dates and minutes plus lots of news, useful information and signposting for official reporting is all available on our website: www.hanburyparishcouncil.org.uk
Text Box: MUCK IN TO MUCK OUT 😊
Saturday 21st October 10am-2pm. Meet at memorial hall.
Please spare whatever time you can and join in to help clear the pavements around the Parish. Useful items to bring along include spades, brooms and some heavy-duty gardening gloves. Many hands make light work and the results are so rewarding. Need more details? Contact the Charlotte, our Clerk, on the email below..
