An update from Hanbury Parish Council
The council currently has a range of interesting projects on the agenda alongside the renovations being undertaken on the playing field. We are hopeful of being able to introduce a speed limit into key areas in the village and discussions are underway with Staffordshire Highways. We are also working with Burton Conservation Volunteers to make a temporary repair to the village pond, aiding the Springtime breeding season for the newts – with a view to doing a full replacement of the lining next August/early September.Further to this we will be looking to remove the notice boards at the end of Hall Drive which are in a very poor state, and replacing them with two brand new notice boards which all villagers will be able to access in the bus shelter. One will be specifically for Hanbury Parish Council matters and one for general public notices. In this sense, please note that should you wish to see a copy of the agenda or minutes online these can all be found on our website: hanburyparishcouncil.org.uk Lastly, we would like to encourage you to report any incidents of anti social behaviour, such as inconsiderate or dangerous driving to Staffordshire police. This can be done by calling 101, reporting online or in an emergency by calling 999.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas
Charlotte Holmes
Clerk to Hanbury Parish Council
