Parish Magazine – November

A update from Hanbury Parish Council.

The parish council have held their last meeting for 2023 and want to thank all the parishioners who have attended the meetings throughout the year and to those who continuingly work hard to keep the village looking clean and tidy. Our 2024 meetings will continue to be held bi-monthly at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall on the following dates:

Monday January 15th, 2024 – 7.30pm – Parish Council meeting

Monday March 11th, 2024 – 7.30pm – Parish Council meeting

Monday April 15th, 2024 – 7.30pm – Annual Parish Meeting

Monday May 20th, 2024 – 7.30pm – Annual Meeting of the Parish Council

Monday July 8th, 2024 – 7.30pm – Parish Council Meeting

Monday September 9th, 2024 – 7.30pm – Parish Council Meeting

Monday November 11th, 2024 – 7.30pm – Parish council meeting

Lastly, after weeks of perusing an update from SCC, the Parish Council has finally received information which unfortunately is most disappointing. Several reasons for the delay are cited, predominantly down to lack of resource and further red tape. Frustratingly, the upshot is that the signs are unlikely to be installed before April 2024 some 2 years since we were first given Cllr Phil White’s support for the project. The parish council reassure parishioners that it remains doggedly determined to see this implemented as soon as possible.
