A reminder from the Hanbury Parish Councillors: –

The following is a reminder that the new septic tank regulations came into force on January 1st 2020 . These regulations whilst very poorly communicated are nevertheless the law and affect all properties that discharge to ditches, fields, streams and rivers etc.

Failure to comply can incur significant financial penalties. Fines could be as much as £100k. Unless you have upgraded your system recently then it is unlikely to be compliant.
